  1. Terms which are recommended by JCCLS.

  2. The terms “isomorphic type RBC” and “dysmorphic type RBC” are used instead of “isomorphic RBC” and “dysmorphic RBC” in the case of autoanalyzer-acquired information about urinary erythrocyte morphology for convenience and to avoid confusion. This is because the latter terms represent erythrocyte morphology in the case of urinary sediment analysis.
